Job Summary The pay for this position is $15.00 / hour. Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Have fun in the sun while pursuing an exciting career in the casino industry. Work with an awesome overnight team while ensuring a good time for our guests. This is a full time, year around, developmental position with an excellent compensation package. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Performs routine cleaning of dishes, glasses, flatware and other kitchen items.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, floors, mats and related areas.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness and adheres to Department of Health Regulations.
• Responsible for proper use of supplies and equipment based on predetermined levels.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Previous experience with dishwashing equipment, cleaning and sanitation preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.

Education And Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift forty (40) pounds without difficulty, repeatedly.
• Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees
