Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
• Manage and motivate kitchen staff by providing clear direction, conducting interviews for new hires, and supporting ongoing training initiatives.
• Oversee food handling procedures to comply with safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
• Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery, including POS (Point of Sale) transactions and cash handling accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste while ensuring ingredient availability.
• Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation practices aligned with industry standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).
• Lead by example in hospitality excellence, demonstrating strong leadership, customer service skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience within the food industry or restaurant management roles.
• Extensive food preparation, cooking, and food handling knowledge gained through restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms; experience with cash handling is essential.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management, interviewing potential staff members, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures.
• Previous experience working in hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable; bartending or barista experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
