JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, lead the kitchen team, and ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and efficient service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead kitchen staff during preparation and service.
• Ensure consistent food quality, proper portions, and presentation.
• Monitor food costs, inventory, stock levels, and wastage.
• Ensure proper sanitation, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assign tasks and ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
• Train and coach kitchen staff and maintain discipline and accountability.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with the front-of-house team for smooth service.
• Address operational and performance concerns promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
• Preferably with experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Kitchen Head, Sous Chef, or similar role.
• Knowledgeable in food preparation, kitchen operations, food safety, inventory, and food costing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, dependable, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Culinary training or certification is an advantage.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift and move 20–30 kg.
• Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
