Kitchen Supervisor

Margo is seeking a dependable and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations, coordinate the culinary team, and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and efficient restaurant service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and workflow
• Lead, train, and support kitchen staff
• Coordinate staff assignments and kitchen tasks
• Monitor food preparation, quality, portion sizes, and presentation
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Monitor food inventory, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
• Assist with ordering and proper storage of food products
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are followed
• Minimize food waste and maintain efficient kitchen operations
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and restaurant management
• Support opening and closing kitchen procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen supervisory, restaurant, or food-service experience is an asset
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule

Full-time restaurant schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: £17.00-£24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.0 per week
