Kitchen Supervisor

Supervise daily kitchen operations, support and lead kitchen staff, maintain food quality and safety standards, and ensure efficient food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Lead, support, and motivate kitchen staff.
• Assign duties and coordinate kitchen shifts.
• Train staff on kitchen procedures and food-safety standards.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Ensure proper food storage and temperature control.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Control food waste and help manage food costs.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff for smooth service.
• Monitor preparation and ticket times.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and properly.
• Support opening and closing kitchen procedures.
• Address operational issues and staff concerns.
• Report kitchen performance and inventory needs to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good organization and time-management abilities.
• Experience with inventory and food-cost control.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
