Kitchen Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe – Llanidloes site.

Undertake all tasks within the canteen to ensure a high – quality service to all staff across the site.

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday

Working hours: 06:00am – 14:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Ordering of stock including raising/receipting PO’s on SAP
• End of day / week / month accounts
• Continuously review menus and preparing and cooking of food
• Lead onsite events such as summer BBQ and staff Christmas dinner
• Collect monies and operate cash till
• Opening/Closing canteen and the start/end of shift
• Report faults so they can be put right quickly to avoid downtime and potential loss of stock
• New menu ideas including buffet options
• Comply with company health and safety standards at all times and ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Comply with food hygiene standards at all times
• Comply with all COSHH and HACCP guidelines

Skills, knowledge, qualifications:

• Numeracy & Literacy skills
• Team Working
• Flexibility
• Previous Supervisory experience
• Well organised
• Minimum HACCP (Level 2)
