About the role

Plan and supervise daily meal preparation and kitchen activities, managing kitchen staff and ensuring consistent meal quality and food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily meal preparation and kitchen activities
• Assign tasks and monitor kitchen staff attendance and performance
• Inspect food ingredients for quality and freshness
• Monitor portion sizes and ensure consistent meal quality
• Maintain food inventory and coordinate supply replenishment
• Implement proper food storage and stock rotation procedures
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Monitor kitchen expenses and minimize food wastage
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Maintain accurate records of food consumption and inventory

About you

• Graduate of Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, or a related course

• At least 2–3 years of experience in kitchen operations or food service

• Preferably with supervisory experience in a kitchen, canteen, or institutional food service

• Knowledgeable in food preparation, menu planning, portion control, and food costing

• Familiar with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures

• Experienced in inventory monitoring and food supply management

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Able to supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations

• Physically capable of working in a kitchen environment

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required

• Willing to stay in at the farm and comply with company policies and safety standards.
