About the role

Genesis BBQ Chicken Asia Incorporated is seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team in our Manila City, Metro Manila location. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and smooth operation of our kitchen.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation

Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for necessary supplies and ingredients

Developing and implementing kitchen policies, procedures, and best practices

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Providing training and development opportunities for kitchen staff

Collaborating with the management team to optimise kitchen operations and processes

Troubleshooting any issues that arise in the kitchen and finding effective solutions

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a kitchen supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team

Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions

Proficient in inventory management and cost control

Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations

A passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
