Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Team Member / Shift Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring excellent food quality and safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing food preparation, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, operating kitchen equipment, and handling customer orders efficiently. Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Manage food service customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively to prepare menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Oversee food safety management practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in supervising kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure smooth workflow during busy hours by coordinating tasks among team members.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure continuous operation.
• Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic proficiency with cash register operations and handling customer transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to manage shifts and motivate team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
