Kitchen Team Member

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting food preparation, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating food production equipment, handling manual tasks, and contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

• Assist in food preparation by following established recipes and procedures.
• Operate food production equipment safely and efficiently to support daily kitchen operations.
• Use basic knife skills to prepare ingredients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to safety standards in production.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of food items to ensure quality and consistency.
• Handle manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving supplies or ingredients with proper technique.
• Support customer service efforts by maintaining a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with customers or team members.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portioning.
• Ability to operate food preparation equipment safely.
• Familiarity with basic knife skills for ingredient prep.
• Strong manual handling skills with attention to safety standards.
• Sensory evaluation skills to assess food quality.
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards in a production environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
