Kitchen Team Member

Job Summary

Don's Jamaican Kitchen is seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Team Member to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting daily operations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with others, and has a positive, winning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and maintain a clean dish area.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas throughout each shift.
• Chop and prepare boxes of chicken once per week.
• Take out trash and assist with general kitchen cleanup.
• Support the kitchen team with additional tasks as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Jamaican Patois is preferred
• Reliable transportation is required
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to help others.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift and move boxes of chicken and other kitchen supplies.
• Restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule

• 25–30 hours per week
• Every Saturday (required)
• Every other Sunday (required)
