Kitchen Team Member

Casey’s of Walled Lake is looking for a skilled, dependable kitchen professional to join our back-of-house team. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in food quality, works efficiently under pressure, and understands what it takes to run a strong kitchen.

This position is ideal for an experienced line cook who wants consistency and an opportunity to grow within a busy, well-established restaurant.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings both skill and strong character to the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items consistently and to standard
• Work multiple stations during service
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Complete prep lists accurately and on time
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service
• Assist with inventory, labeling, rotation, and proper storage
• Support catering orders and high-volume events
• Help with opening and closing duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior kitchen experience (line cook, prep cook, or similar role preferred)
• Knife skills and basic cooking techniques
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team

Pay: $750.00 - $1,200.00 per week
