Eighth & Main Burger Co. is looking for reliable, hardworking kitchen staff to join our team.

We’re a locally owned, independent restaurant serving scratch-made food in Downtown Columbia. We stay busy, we work with urgency, and we take pride in putting out great food every single shift.

What We’re Looking For

Reliability is #1. We need people who show up when scheduled, on time, ready to work.

You should be able to:

• Work with urgency while maintaining quality
• Follow recipes, portioning, and food-safety standards
• Handle a busy kitchen without falling apart when the tickets start rolling
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Communicate and work well with the rest of the kitchen
• Take direction and be willing to learn
• Be dependable and consistent

Restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person if you have a strong work ethic and actually want to learn.

What We Offer

• Competitive pay based on experience and ability
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Employee meal discount
• Consistent work in an established, locally owned restaurant
• Hands-on training
• Opportunity to grow as you prove yourself

We’re not looking for someone who just needs a job for a few weeks. We’re looking for people who want to become a reliable part of our kitchen team.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
