Kitchen Team Member

Job Summary

Water Grill is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Team Member to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, kitchen organization, sanitation, dishwashing, stocking, and general back-of-house duties while working closely with cooks and other kitchen team members to maintain efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and kitchen team members with daily food preparation.
• Wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients according to instructions.
• Prepare basic ingredients and menu components as directed by kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked preparation stations.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Restock ingredients, food products, containers, and kitchen supplies.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and supply deliveries.
• Label and store food items according to restaurant procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, equipment, refrigerators, and work areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Remove trash, food waste, and other materials according to restaurant procedures.
• Report low supplies, equipment problems, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen cleaning duties.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by kitchen management.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, restaurant, food-service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures.
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
