Margie’s Central Canteen – 2224 Yandell

Margie’s Central Canteen is looking for an experienced and dependable Kitchen Lead to join our team. We need someone who can help keep the kitchen running smoothly, work well with others, and lead by example.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
• Experience working with flat-top griddles, grills, and fryers
• Current, unexpired Food Handler Certification
• Reliable transportation
• Must be dependable, honest, and a strong team player
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Must be comfortable taking initiative and helping keep the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and prepared
• Must have open availability for both opening and closing shifts

Our kitchen is open 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, 7 days a week, so applicants must be flexible and available to work a combination of opening and closing shifts.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with management and coworkers, and can be counted on to help the entire kitchen succeed.
