Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Back of House Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall culinary experience. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure that all food handling and safety procedures are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Support catering operations by preparing and packaging food items for events as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all operational standards.
• Participate in training sessions on food safety, meal preparation techniques, and other relevant topics as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn about meal preparation techniques is a plus.

Pay: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour
