Job Summary

Kitchen Ideas is seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Staff Associate to support daily kitchen operations, maintain organized work areas, and assist with general kitchen tasks. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with team members, follow established procedures, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen operations and general support activities.
• Organize kitchen supplies, utensils, equipment, and workstations.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen areas.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment as needed.
• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient organization when required.
• Restock supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is running low.
• Help receive, inspect, and properly store kitchen materials and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize counters, sinks, appliances, and work surfaces.
• Support kitchen team members during busy operating periods.
• Follow food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Identify and report equipment issues, supply shortages, or potential safety hazards.
• Assist with routine opening, closing, and cleanup duties.
• Maintain organized storage areas and clear walkways.
• Complete additional kitchen support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, restaurant, food service, or general support experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a shift.
