Kitchen Team Member

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our team in Cambridge. We are a delivery-focused kitchen, preparing fresh, high-quality poke bowls and other menu items for our customers.

The ideal candidate should be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and order accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food and menu items according to company recipes and presentation standards.
• Follow customer orders carefully and ensure all items are packed correctly.
• Check order tickets and double-check every order before dispatch to prevent missing items.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
• Follow food safety procedures, including stock rotation and FIFO.
• Assist with stock checks, deliveries and kitchen preparation.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow opening, closing and cleaning checklists.
• Help maintain good customer satisfaction through accurate and consistent orders.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail, especially when checking and packing orders.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety is desirable.
