Kitchen Team Member

About the Position

Four Mile Brands is looking for motivated Kitchen Team Members to support daily food preparation, cooking, and service operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in different areas of the kitchen, from preparing ingredients and producing food in larger quantities to cooking fresh meals and assisting with specialty food and beverage stations.

We're looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work and are comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

Depending on experience and operational needs, team members may also assist with catering preparation, smoking meats, or operating a coffee and beverage station.

What You'll Do

• Prepare fresh ingredients, proteins, sauces, and other food items for daily operations.
• Assist with batch cooking and larger-volume food production.
• Cook and assemble menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Support catering preparation, packaging, and event-related food production as needed.
• Operate and maintain assigned kitchen equipment safely.
• Certain team members will be trained to prepare and cook meats using a commercial smoker.
• Some positions will assist with preparing coffee, specialty beverages, and maintaining the beverage service station.
• Monitor food temperatures, portion sizes, and proper storage procedures.
• Keep food preparation areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with inventory rotation, restocking, and minimizing food waste.
• Work alongside other team members to ensure food is ready for service on time.
• Complete daily opening, cleaning, and closing responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a restaurant, commercial kitchen, or food service environment is preferred.
• Catering, banquet preparation, or large-scale food production experience is a plus.
• Experience using commercial smokers or preparing smoked meats is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes, production instructions, and food safety standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to approximately 50 pounds.
