Job Summary

Nick + Stef's Steakhouse is seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Team Member to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain clean and organized workstations, and help the culinary team deliver high-quality meals to guests. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced steakhouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
• Wash, cut, and portion ingredients as directed.
• Keep kitchen workstations, counters, and equipment clean.
• Support the preparation and organization of ingredients.
• Store food items properly and follow food safety procedures.
• Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Clean kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment after use.
• Follow sanitation and workplace safety guidelines.
• Communicate with kitchen team members to support timely food service.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
