Kitchen Team Member

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join small team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in the success of our cafe by maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, preparing and serving exceptional dishes to our guests, and providing outstanding customer service. **Duties:** - Prepare and prep ingredients according to recipes and presentation standards. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines. - Assist in food preparation, including chopping, and cooking. - Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and front areas. - Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards and presented to the guest in a timely and appealing manner. - Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. - Communicate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team and other restaurant staff to ensure seamless service. - Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a harmonious and productive work environment. **Qualifications:** - Experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a cafe setting. - Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques. - Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Familiarity with restaurant software and point-of-sale systems. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods. - A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience. **Skills:** - Cafe experience - Food service - Food handling - Culinary experience - Restaurant environment - Food safety knowledge - Cooking skills - Communication skills - Food preparation - Customer service skills - bilingual in Chinese

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
