Job Summary

Naked Farmer is seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Kitchen Team Member to support daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will help prepare fresh ingredients, assemble menu items, maintain food quality, and keep kitchen workstations clean and organized. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with food, values freshness and consistency, and takes pride in providing guests with a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients, including washing, cutting, and portioning vegetables and other food items.
• Assemble menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Assist cooks with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes, food quality, and presentation.
• Keep preparation stations, counters, utensils, and equipment clean.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
• Store, label, and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness.
• Monitor ingredient supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is needed.
• Help receive and organize food deliveries.
• Communicate with team members to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food preparation experience is preferred but not always required.
• Interest in fresh food preparation and quality ingredients.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Good organization and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week

Work Location: In person
