Are you looking for a fast-paced kitchen role with an upbeat, supportive crew? The Barn Cafe is seeking a high-energy, positive Kitchen Team Member to join our team! Shift Schedule & Availability:

• Days: Tuesday through Saturday (The cafe is closed Sundays & Mondays!)
• Hours: Shifts run between 6:30 AM and 3:30 PM
• Hours per week: Part-time (20–35 hours per week)
• Reliability note: Punctuality and consistent attendance are absolute requirements for this role.

Core Responsibilities:

• Team Operations: Maintain the dish station, answer the phone, and run fresh food out to guests.
• Food Preparation: Learn and efficiently prepare a high volume of breakfast and lunch foods.
• Kitchen Prep: Perform essential daily prep work, including slicing meats, cutting fresh vegetables, and cooking bacon.
• Station Support: Jump onto the line quickly to support your teammates when ticket volume spikes.
• Front-End Cross-Training: Learn front-of-house operations to cross-train as a cashier and barista, ensuring you can confidently step up and support the front counter during transitions or peak rushes.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
