Broadlands Bar & Bistro | 30 hours per week

We’re getting ready to open the doors at Broadlands Bar & Bistro, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable Kitchen Team Members to join our brand-new team.

Our kitchen will be serving a straightforward menu of freshly prepared sandwiches and pizzas, so we're not looking for highly qualified chefs or years of fine-dining experience. Instead, we're looking for people who enjoy working with food, take pride in keeping things clean and organised, and want to be part of creating a great experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing ingredients and getting everything ready for service.
• Making and serving our sandwiches and pizzas to a consistent standard.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout your shift.
• Following food hygiene, safety and cleaning procedures.
• Working closely with the wider team to keep service running smoothly.
• Bringing your own ideas and helping us improve how we do things as we grow.

What we're looking for

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Someone reliable, organised and happy to get stuck in.
• An understanding of the importance of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Someone who can work well as part of a team and stay calm during busy periods.
• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience would be great, but the right attitude matters just as much.
