JOB DESCRIPTION

Fabmatic Trading W.L.L. is looking for an experienced and skilled Kitchen Technician to join our team in Qatar.

The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment in hotels, restaurants, catering facilities, and other commercial establishments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-related faults.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as:
• Commercial ovens and combi ovens
• Cooking ranges and cooking equipment
• Fryers
• Dishwashers
• Refrigeration equipment
• Bain-marie and hot/cold kitchen equipment
• Food preparation equipment
• Other commercial kitchen equipment
• Attend customer breakdown calls and provide timely technical support.
• Perform equipment testing and commissioning after installation or repair.
• Maintain proper service reports and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Coordinate with customers and the internal service team to complete jobs efficiently.
• Support installation and commissioning projects when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Kitchen Technician or Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician.
• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Valid Qatar Driving License will be an advantage and will accelerate the selection process.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
