Kitchen Technician

About the job

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance – Kitchen Technician to join our Maintenance team in ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of kitchen and refrigeration equipment within the mall. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition and supporting a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of kitchen and refrigeration equipment
• Conduct electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and basic electrical maintenance as needed
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and refrigeration equipment
• Respond promptly to equipment-related concerns and maintenance requests
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures

Other Responsibilities

• Assist in other maintenance-related tasks and activities as assigned
• Coordinate with other departments regarding equipment concerns and repair requirements
• Maintain proper care and handling of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course or NC II Holder
• At least 1–2 years of proven work experience as a Kitchen Technician or in a related maintenance role
• Knowledgeable in electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• With experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of kitchen and refrigeration equipment
• Experience in a commercial or retail environment is an advantage but not required
• Detail-oriented, takes initiative, and demonstrates a positive and professional attitude
• Willing to work flexible, shifting, and night-shift schedules
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
