Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Technician – Hot & Cold Kitchen Equipment to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of various commercial kitchen equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of hot and cold kitchen equipment, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and respond efficiently to service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial hot and cold kitchen equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and other technical issues.
• Perform repairs and replacement of defective components and parts.
• Handle equipment such as:
• Commercial ovens and ranges
• Gas and electric cooking equipment
• Fryers and grills
• Steamers and food warmers
• Refrigerators and freezers
• Chillers and cold storage equipment
• Ice machines
• Food preparation equipment
• Other commercial kitchen appliances
• Conduct equipment testing after installation or repair.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, kitchen staff, contractors, and other technicians as needed.
• Provide technical recommendations regarding equipment repair, replacement, and maintenance.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls when required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Technical/Vocational course, Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), or related field.
• With at least 2–3 years of experience as a technician handling commercial kitchen equipment.
• Experience with both hot and cold kitchen equipment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration systems, mechanical components, and basic gas systems.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct field service and travel to customer sites when required.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in commercial kitchens and service environments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• TESDA certification or relevant technical certification is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
