Koi Pond & Water Feature Technician

Duties

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and clean koi ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and other water features using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain water quality by managing filtration systems, pumps, aeration devices, and chemical treatments
• Conduct regular inspections of water features to identify issues such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, or algae buildup
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, planting aquatic plants and other landscaping duties to enhance the overall aesthetic
• Operate groundskeeping equipment such as power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Familiarity with outdoor work experience with a focus on groundskeeping or landscape maintenance
• Some mechanical knowledge related to pumps, filters, irrigation systems, and hardscape components
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment including power tools, pool vacuums, and netting
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation
• Knowledge of pond care, gardening techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work in various weather conditions required

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
