Bitbase Exchange is a cryptocurrency trading platform focused on expanding its global presence and strengthening its ecosystem of traders, partners, and communities. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to accelerate our Futures trading growth across Latin America through strategic KOL partnerships, affiliate acquisition, and high-performing trading communities.

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in crypto exchanges, particularly in Futures trading, KOL partnerships, and affiliate management.

The ideal candidate has an established network of crypto influencers, trading communities, affiliates, and professional traders across LATAM, with a track record of converting these relationships into active traders, first-time deposits, and sustainable trading volume.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can bring existing relationships, execute partnership strategies, and deliver measurable business results from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Futures Trading Growth

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow Futures trading volume and active trader acquisition across LATAM.
• Identify, negotiate, and onboard high-potential KOLs, influencers, trading communities, and affiliate partners.
• Build partnerships that generate new registrations, first-time deposits (FTDs), first-time traders (FTTs), and recurring trading activity.
• Design competitive commission, rebate, revenue-sharing, and performance-based partnership structures.
• Monitor partner performance and implement initiatives to improve trader activation, retention, and trading volume.

KOL & Affiliate Partnership Management

• Build, maintain, and expand an active network of crypto KOLs, YouTubers, influencers, trading educators, signal providers, and community owners.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to onboarding, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
• Develop long-term relationships with high-performing partners who can consistently drive Futures trading activity.
• Identify new partnership opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and industry networking.
• Reactivate underperforming partners and scale successful collaborations based on measurable results.

Market Expansion & Strategy

• Develop and execute localized growth strategies for Spanish-speaking LATAM markets; Portuguese-speaking Brazil may also be included depending on coverage.
• Build relationships with regional trading communities, affiliate networks, and crypto ecosystem partners.
• Track competitor campaigns, commission structures, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to launch trading campaigns, competitions, promotions, and other partner-led initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Affiliate/KOL Management within another crypto exchange.
• Direct experience working with a centralized crypto exchange (CEX) is required.
• Strong understanding of Futures trading, derivatives, trader acquisition, and crypto exchange business models.
• An established network of crypto KOLs, influencers, trading communities, affiliates, or high-volume traders across LATAM.
• Demonstrated ability to generate measurable trading volume, FTDs, FTTs, and active trading users through partnerships.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial deals, including commission, rebate, and revenue-sharing arrangements.
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Spanish fluency is required for Spanish-speaking LATAM coverage. Portuguese is a strong advantage for Brazil-focused coverage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, target-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience at a major crypto exchange, such as Binance, Bybit, Bitget, KuCoin, MEXC, BingX, or a comparable platform.
• Existing relationships with active Futures traders, derivatives-focused KOLs, and trading communities.
• Experience managing a portfolio of high-performing partners with verifiable trading-volume contributions.
• Previous regional leadership or team-management experience is an advantage for senior-level candidates.
