Korea Finance Manager

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Establish and oversee a robust financial governance framework covering all plant financial activities in alignment with Emerson Group policies, Korea GAAP, and US GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, delivering accurate and timely reporting for group consolidation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, provide complete supporting documentation, and ensure efficient completion.
• Implement and regularly test internal controls across procurement, production, inventory, and sales to mitigate financial risks.
• Oversee full-cycle inventory management, including counts, valuation, turnover analysis, and identification and disposal of obsolete inventory.
• Manage capital expenditure evaluation, budget control, and post-investment ROI analysis to optimize capital utilization.
• Analyze production efficiency, capacity utilization, and unit production costs, providing actionable insights for operational decisions.
• Manage VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory tax filings.
• Collaborate with the group tax team to optimize the tax position and implement compliant tax planning strategies.
• Prepare and timely submit statutory financial statements and required regulatory reports.
• Liaise with local authorities and coordinate internal resources for compliant, timely responses to inspections, surveys, and official communications.
• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecast (POR) cycles aligned with group financial targets and business objectives.
• Analyze variances among actual results, budget, and forecast, identify key performance drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, supply chain, and sales teams to align financial and operational objectives.
• Represent Finance in cross-functional projects, including lean manufacturing and new product introduction.
• Ensure Finance actively supports plant-wide operational goals through effective communication and collaborative problem-solving.

You communicate effectively in English and Korean and support operational goals through collaborative problem-solving.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience.
• Hands-on expertise in accounting, Korea GAAP and US GAAP compliance, tax, planning and compliance, and internal and external audit coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• High competence in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
• Deep understanding of Korean tax regulations, international trade compliance, and statutory financial reporting requirements in Korea.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
