SEOUL STATION is a vibrant Korean restaurant in the heart of Lucerne, offering authentic Korean cuisine with a modern twist. From Korean BBQ and signature dishes to Korean Fried Chicken, Tavolata sharing menus and our popular Korean brunch, we are passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on (Head) Chef to lead our kitchen team and take our culinary offering to the next level.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop our multicultural kitchen team, fostering a positive and respectful working environment.
• Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, taste and presentation.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including preparation, service and workflow.
• Maintain authentic Korean flavours while contributing fresh ideas and menu innovations.
• Oversee food costs, inventory, ordering and waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with restaurant management to continuously improve kitchen operations.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a (Head) Chef, Sous Chef or experienced Korean cuisine specialist ready for the next step.
• Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef, ideally in Korean or Asian cuisine, with the ambition and ability to take on kitchen leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Calm, professional and solution-oriented, even during busy services.
• Hands-on mentality, reliability and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• English communication skills; German or Korean is an advantage.
• Ideally already based in Switzerland or eligible to work in Switzerland.
