Korean Interpreter

About the role
We are seeking a talented Korean Interpreter to join our dynamic team at PT Krakatau Posco in Cilegon Banten. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in facilitating seamless communication between our Korean stakeholders and our local staff, ensuring the success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing accurate and timely interpretation between Korean and Indonesian/English in a variety of settings, including meetings, presentations, and negotiations
2. Translating written documents, reports, and correspondence between Korean and Indonesian/English
3. Assisting in the coordination of cross-cultural activities and events
4. Serving as a cultural liaison, providing insights and guidance to ensure effective collaboration between Korean and Indonesian/English-speaking parties
5. Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
6. Contributing to the overall success of the organisation by supporting effective communication and understanding

What we're looking for

1. Fluency in both Korean and Indonesian/English, with the ability to interpret and translate between the languages with a high degree of accuracy
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills in all three languages
3. Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
4. Demonstrated experience in a similar interpretation or translation role, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
5. Familiarity with business terminology and protocols in both Korean and Indonesian/English
6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills
