Korean Tutor

Crystelle Tutors is a specialist online language tuition provider, currently offering French and Spanish and expanding into a number of other languages including Korean.

We are looking for an exceptional Korean tutor to join our growing team and work with students and adults with a wide range of goals, from academic achievement and formal qualifications to fluency, conversation, travel, work and personal enrichment.

We are particularly interested in tutors who can provide structured, measurable language progression, supporting learners from beginner to advanced level and preparing students for recognised Korean language qualifications where appropriate.

The role

• Deliver engaging, high quality one to one online Korean lessons tailored to each learner's goals and level.
• Develop confidence and accuracy across speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Teach learners of different ages, abilities and backgrounds.
• Provide structured progression from beginner to advanced level.
• Prepare students for relevant Korean language qualifications, including TOPIK, where appropriate.
• Adapt lessons to each learner's interests, needs and learning style.
• Provide thoughtful feedback and maintain excellent standards of preparation and communication.

About you

• Native or near native Korean proficiency with excellent command of the language.
• Strong experience teaching or tutoring Korean.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language education.
• Warm, engaging and able to build strong relationships with learners.
• Comfortable teaching both practical communication and structured language development.
• Experience preparing students for formal language examinations or qualifications is desirable.
• Familiarity with TOPIK and Korean language proficiency levels is desirable.
• A relevant degree and/or teaching qualification is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS required.
