Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of dishes with precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards
• Assist in cooking and plating food items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with servers and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent guest service
• Follow food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to ensure a hygienic environment
• Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary techniques and hospitality skills

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including safety and sanitation standards
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction
• Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
• Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service principles to enhance guest satisfaction

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
