Relocation Coordinator | 3.5-Month Contract | Work From Home 4 Days

Build valuable coordination experience while helping people through one of life’s biggest challenges.

Looking for a short-term opportunity that offers genuine flexibility, comprehensive training and meaningful customer interaction?
Kent Relocation Group is seeking a friendly, organised and solutions-focused Relocation Coordinator to join our team for our busy season.
This is a full-time, 3.5-month fixed-term contract, working four days from home and just one day each week from your closet Kent Branch location in Australia.
You don’t need to come from the removals industry. If you have experience in customer service, administration, travel, bookings or client coordination-and enjoy keeping people informed and organised-we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

Moving can be a stressful experience. You will help make it easier by coordinating each client’s relocation and ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a friendly and reassuring point of contact for clients

Coordinating relocation requirements and keeping clients updated

Liaising with suppliers to support a smooth and positive experience

Responding to enquiries, changes and issues with a solutions-focused approach

Accurately entering and maintaining client information in our technology platform

Managing competing priorities during our busy relocation season

Following each relocation through and ensuring important details are not missed

What will help you succeed

We are looking for someone who is naturally helpful, organised and comfortable working in a busy customer-focused environment.
You may bring:

Customer service, administration, coordination, travel or booking experience

Clear, warm and professional communication skills

Confidence speaking with customers and suppliers over the phone

Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills

The ability to organise your workload and manage changing priorities

A calm, logical approach when resolving questions or problems

Confidence learning new systems and working independently from home

A genuine desire to provide a great customer experience

Previous relocation or travel-industry experience would be helpful, but it is not essential.
If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. Your attitude, transferable skills and willingness to learn may be exactly what we are looking for.

We’ll help you get started

You won’t be expected to know everything on day one.
You will receive a structured induction and a two-week training program to help you understand our systems, services and approach to supporting clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to:

Gain hands-on coordination experience

Strengthen your customer service and administrative skills

Learn from an experienced relocation team

Add experience with a recognised national organisation to your résumé

Explore the diverse career opportunities available across Kent

Why join Kent?

Kent is an Australian success story with more than 75 years of experience. What began as a family business has grown into an award-winning national organisation with more than 400 employees and contractors across almost 20 locations.
We are much more than trucks and moving boxes. Our teams work across customer service, coordination, sales, operations, technology, marketing and corporate services.
At Kent, you can also access a range of employee benefits, including:

Four days working from home each week
