KST (Kitchen Stewarding)

The Fisherman's Wharf Calangute is looking for a Kitchen Stewarding team member to support the kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation standards across the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and work areas.
• Ensure proper washing and cleaning of all kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, and other back-of-house areas.
• Assist in maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards as per company guidelines.
• Handle garbage and waste disposal as per established procedures.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and correctly.
• Keep the kitchen stewarding area clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Support the kitchen team with cleaning requirements during operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report any damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with other stewarding duties as assigned by the Stewarding Supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or a similar role in a restaurant or hotel is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with standing for extended periods.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Freshers may also be considered based on suitability.
