• Ensure awareness and full compliance with bank’s policy, local regulations and reporting requirements by various local regulatory authorities to embed Compliance Risk monitoring as an integral part of the business process.
• Ensuring know your customers reviews are undertaken to the required quality and detail on a timely basis.
• Conduct sanctions, Blacklist, PEP and adverse media screening for new and existing clients, counterparties and related parties. Keep abreast of market developments in the relevant industry sectors.
• Perform research via internal and external sources, gather and analyze documentation in accordance with regulatory customer identification program/ know your customers' requirements.
• Interact with the client, gather deal requirements, financial statements and other inputs for performing quality analysis and due diligence.
• Be capable of categorizing and organizing customer risk information and reporting it in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned and ad-hoc. Requirements(experience/academic, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 3 years’ working experience in Banking.
• Kown about the regulations regarding Customer Due Diligence and UBO identification as well as the actual work processes in FIs.
• Solid understanding of AML, KYC, Risk Assessment, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media screening requirements.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with sound risk judgement.
• Good data processing and communication skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and independent thinking and working ability
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply a risk-based approach.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
