KYC Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking for KYC Analysts who are fluent in English and Malay to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Know Your Customer(KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks on new and existing customers.

* Review and verify customer information, identification documents, and supporting documentation.

* Conduct customer screening against relevant sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and watchlists.

* Identify discrepancies, unusual information, or potential compliance risks and escalate where required.

* Ensure customer records and KYC documentation are complete, accurate, and up to date.

* Conduct periodic reviews and remediation of existing customer accounts.

* Follow established KYC, AML, compliance, and risk management procedures.

* Maintain accurate records and documentation of investigations and reviews.

* Meet required quality, productivity, and turnaround-time (TAT) targets.

* Escalate potentially suspicious or high-risk cases to the appropriate team for further investigation.

* Maintain strict confidentiality when handling customer and business information.

Requirements

Experience

1. Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in KYC, AML, CDD, compliance, banking, financial services, risk management.

2. Fresh graduates are welcome with a Bachelor's Degree in:

* Finance

* Accounting / Accounts

* Actuarial Science

* Banking / Financial Services

* Economics

* Business Administration

Risk Management

* Or other related disciplines.
