KYC Analyst

Sparta Global is looking for experienced KYC / AML Analysts to join a major programme within a large global financial services organisation in Kraków .

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an international environment, supporting Client Lifecycle Management and ensuring effective Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering controls.

The Role

As a KYC / AML Analyst, you will support the end-to-end client lifecycle, conducting due diligence and ensuring client records meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC reviews and client due diligence
• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Review corporate ownership structures and identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs)
• Conduct sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening
• Review and validate client documentation
• Identify, investigate and escalate potential KYC/AML risks
• Support new-client onboarding and periodic reviews
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Work closely with Compliance, Financial Crime and other stakeholders
• Ensure cases are completed accurately and within agreed timelines

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience in KYC, AML, CDD, Financial Crime or Client Onboarding
• Good understanding of KYC/AML principles and regulatory requirements
• Experience reviewing corporate or institutional clients is advantageous
• Understanding of corporate structures and UBO identification
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
• Strong written and verbal English
• Previous financial services experience preferred
