The opportunity

Our client is strengthening its KYC and Client Onboarding function and is looking for an experienced KYC / Client Onboarding Officer to join its Luxembourg-based team.

This opportunity is suited to a professional with experience in financial services, KYC, AML or client onboarding , who is looking for a role combining client due diligence, regulatory requirements, stakeholder interaction and process improvement.

KYC - Client Onboarding Officer: Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the onboarding and ongoing review of a portfolio of clients and will:

• Perform KYC onboarding and due diligence for corporate clients, investment funds and fund investors;
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing clients and assess the continued compliance of client structures;
• Collaborate closely with Compliance and other internal business units to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process;
• Review and maintain KYC profiles, ensuring that client information and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and up to date;
• Apply relevant AML, KYC, governance and regulatory requirements in line with internal policies and procedures;
• Monitor the compliance of client structures with applicable fund and corporate law requirements ;
• Contribute to the improvement of KYC processes, procedures and checklists ;
• Support the enhancement of internal controls and onboarding processes;
• Ensure accurate archiving and maintenance of onboarding documentation within the relevant systems;
• Maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy across internal databases;
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve KYC and onboarding matters efficiently.

KYC - Client Onboarding Officer: Your profile

We are looking for a motivated professional with a solid background in financial services and KYC - Client Onboarding .

You will ideally bring:

• Around 3 years of relevant professional experience within financial services, ideally in KYC, Client Onboarding, AML, Compliance or a related function;
• Previous exposure to corporate clients, investment funds and/or fund investors ;
• A good understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements ;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
• A proactive, rigorous and detail-oriented approach;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly, concisely and effectively;
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with different internal stakeholders;
• Excellent English , both written and spoken;
• Agility and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced financial services environment.
