Job Position: KYC Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Role Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented KYC Officer to verify customer identities, validate documentation, and ensure compliance with customer due diligence requirements throughout the onboarding and financing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify customer identification, personal information, and supporting documents.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and identify discrepancies, suspicious information, or potential fraud risks.
• Ensure accurate customer data entry, documentation, and record maintenance.
• Follow applicable Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and internal compliance procedures.
• Escalate incomplete applications, suspicious cases, and compliance concerns to the appropriate team.
• Collaborate with Credit and Operations teams to support efficient customer onboarding.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in KYC, customer verification, compliance, banking, fintech, or lending.
• Knowledge of identity verification, customer due diligence, and AML principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital documentation systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, integrity, and confidentiality.

Salary

N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
