KYC Team Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced KYC Team Lead to manage a team of KYC Analysts and oversee the team's day-to-day operations, performance, productivity, and quality. The Team Lead will be responsible for meeting operational targets, providing coaching and support to analysts, handling complex cases, and serving as the first point of escalation for operational concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of KYC Analysts and ensure achievement of SLA, quality, productivity, and attendance targets.
• Allocate workloads, manage queues, and balance team capacity based on business volume.
• Review and approve complex or high-risk KYC cases requiring Team Lead approval.
• Conduct daily team huddles and regular 1:1 coaching sessions.
• Monitor analyst performance and provide coaching based on scorecards and quality results.
• Support the onboarding and ramp-up of new KYC Analysts.
• Identify underperforming team members and implement appropriate coaching or improvement actions.
• Work closely with Quality Control (QC) teams to address recurring errors, defect trends, and knowledge gaps.
• Coordinate retraining and escalate process or SOP concerns when necessary.
• Monitor attendance, schedule adherence, and team capacity.
• Identify potential attrition risks and support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Escalate operational concerns such as volume spikes, system/tool issues, unclear procedures, and capacity constraints to the Delivery Lead.
• Provide accurate team performance updates, root-cause analysis, and operational insights for weekly business reviews.
• Coordinate with Training teams to address knowledge gaps identified during the onboarding and ramp-up process.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant KYC experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or Team Lead experience.
• Previous experience managing KYC/AML Analysts or similar financial crime operations teams.
• Strong understanding of KYC processes and case review.
• Experience handling complex or high-risk KYC cases is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operational metrics such as SLA, productivity, quality, adherence, and attendance.
• Strong coaching, people management, and performance management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Willingness to work night shift and fully onsite in Taguig.

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
