Job Summary:
We are looking for a Network Engineer - L1 to provide first-level network support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience in routing and switching technologies and possess a strong understanding of network protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1 support for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Monitor network devices, links, and connectivity using monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and performance issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Routers and Switches .
• Hands-on experience with Routing & Switching .
• Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP and VTP .
• Troubleshoot VLAN, trunking, STP, EtherChannel, and inter-VLAN routing issues.
• Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of IP addressing and subnetting.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and network-related tickets within defined SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
• Maintain network documentation and troubleshooting records.
• Perform basic network device health checks and preventive monitoring.

Mandatory Skills:

• CCNA or CCNP certification - Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in Routing & Switching .
• Practical experience with OSPF .
• Basic to working-level knowledge of BGP .
• Hands-on/working knowledge of VTP, VLAN, STP and Trunking .
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Cisco networking devices .
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with enterprise network environments.
• ITIL/ticketing tool exposure.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
