L1 System Engineer

Role 该职位来源于猎聘 At 5G Baseband System Team our main task is to develop the advanced radio network functions for the 5G NR RAN of Ericsson’s wireless products. We coordinate in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and collaborative sharing are part of the daily work. You will Develop and perform simulations for layer1 algorithms of 5G wireless communication protocols and their specifications. Analyze and verify 5G RAN system solutions on simulation platforms. Perform systems studies in the area of Baseband Physical Layer for radio functions like Beam Forming, Massive MIMO, Carrier Aggregation etc. Work in a team of experienced system developers. Develop software simulations for the performance analysis of 5G features and algorithms, primarily link-level, but also network-level simulation. To be successful in the role you must have:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telecommunications /Computer Engineering or Computer Science Well-crafted programming skills in C or C++ Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing. Strong knowledge of NR 3GPP specifications, especially in the areas of the Physical Layer, Radio Resource Management and Mobility. Experience in the software development and analysis of simulations (knowledge of simulation environments and tools like MATLAB would be an asset) Familiarity with tools such as GIT & Gerrit Excellent communication in verbal and written English You may also have: Development experience on physical layer software for a wireless standard – E.g. NR, LTE, WCDMA, WiMAX An ability to plan and drive your work, and also work in teams to reach common goals. An ability to adapt and respond quickly to change and deliver results to meet expectations. Excellent communication skills.
