L1 Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering prompt and effective technical support to customers, addressing IT-related issues, incidents, and request. This role requires a solid understanding of IT systems and strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide professional technical assistance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
• Collaborate with other support teams to resolve complex or escalated issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of incidents, action taken, and resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams as necessary.
• Provide on-site technical support when required.
• Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Perform additional task as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be located at Bacolod.
• Bachelor/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. (undergraduate with prior experience will be considered)
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
• Proficient in Active Directory, Exchange Server, Terminal Services and virtualization technologies
• Office 365, Window Azure, and Microsoft server environments
• Supporting infrastructure across platforms such as Windows Server, MS Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services
• Using ticketing system for incident management
• Familiarity with Oracle solutions, Unix systems, and Microsoft applications.
• Basic troubleshooting of networks, telephony, voice, and data systems
• Hands on experience with hardware and peripherals such as printers, networking devices, wireless equipment, laptops, and desktop
• Strong analytical , problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel and work on weekends or holidays if required.
• Commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
