Role Summary:
Provide hands-on L2 production support for distributed applications, manage incidents, and contribute to automation and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.

What Youll Do:

• Provide L2 support for Java, microservices, UNIX, SQL, and cloud-native applications
• Perform debugging, log analysis, performance tuning, and incident management
• Handle production deployments, rollbacks, and post-deployment validations
• Communicate incident updates, facilitate bridge calls, and create RCA reports
• Collaborate with development teams for defect fixes and proactive improvements
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and AI agents
• Participate in on-call rotations, capacity planning, and disaster recovery drills
• Document knowledge base articles, runbooks, and support procedures
• Work flexible shifts, including APAC, EMEA, and weekends

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Hands-on experience with Java, microservices, UNIX, SQL, and cloud-native apps
• Proficiency in application performance tools (Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git)
• Experience with SRE observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting (Python, Bash) and AI agents
• Strong incident management skills, following ITIL best practices
• Effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and provide weekend support

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):

• ITIL v3/v4 certification
• Experience with Gitlab for CI/CD
