L2 Field Support Engineer

Location: A-1030 Vienna, Austria.

Visit Schedule: 2 visits per week (Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Thursday)

1 year contract

salary: 200 euros per day visit

Scope:

L2 Field Support Engineer

Fluent German (Mandatory) with the ability to independently communicate, troubleshoot, and explain technical issues to German-speaking users.

Good written and verbal English communication skills for coordination with global teams.

Minimum 3+ years of enterprise Deskside/Field Support experience.

Strong 2nd Line Support capability (not Service Desk/L1 support).

Expertise in Windows 11, Microsoft 365, laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.

Working knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, and Active Directory.

Ability to troubleshoot basic network/connectivity issues and provide Smart Hands support.

Strong customer-facing and end-user support skills.

Ability to take end-to-end ownership of incidents and service requests through resolution.

Experience in maintaining Knowledge Base articles, documentation, and asset records.

Proactive approach to identifying recurring issues, performing root cause analysis, and improving user experience.
