Role Summary

As a System Integrator, we are seeking an L2 Infrastructure Engineer responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure at customer sites. This role combines physical hardware deployment with L2 systems support, requiring mandatory expertise in VMware administration, enterprise backup configurations, and physical server/storage hardware management.

Key Responsibilities

●        Virtualization & Backup (Mandatory): Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, and configure/monitor enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam) to meet client SLAs.

●        Hardware Deployment: Rack, stack, and mount servers, storage arrays, disk enclosures, and network devices at customer data centers.

●        Infrastructure Maintenance: Replace failed components (e.g., HDD/SSD, memory, controllers) and coordinate with OEM support to track cases and RMAs.

●        Remote Management & Cabling: Perform BIOS/firmware updates, configure out-of-band management (iDRAC, iLO, CIMC), and run structured copper and fiber cabling.

●        Incident Handling & Client Support: Diagnose hardware and virtualization faults, attend customer-site incidents requiring physical intervention, and restore services within agreed SLAs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

●        Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure support and data center environments.

●        Core Technologies: Mandatory proficiency in VMware/hypervisors and enterprise backup infrastructure.

●        Hardware Expertise: Solid understanding of server architecture (CPU, memory, RAID) and storage fundamentals (DAS/NAS/SAN, FC/iSCSI/SAS connectivity).

●        Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

●        Working Conditions: Comfortable with physical work in racks, occasional extended hours, and traveling to customer sites for installations and emergency support.
