Description:

Farmer Joe’s is seeking a Level 2 IT Support - Systems Technician to help bridge our frontline helpdesk and IT leadership. You will handle escalated technical issues, support day-to-day IT operations, and take ownership of assigned systems and projects.This is a hands-on role for someone who can troubleshoot independently, communicate clearly, and recognize when an issue needs additional expertise. You should have a solid foundation in Windows administration, networking, virtualization, and computer hardware, along with a willingness to learn.

Description

• Serve as the primary escalation point for the helpdesk, owning issues from initial investigation through resolution, documentation, and follow-up.
• Troubleshoot recurring problems, identify root causes, and implement approved solutions that reduce repeat tickets.
• Help prioritize tickets based on business impact and urgency, meet service-level targets, and keep users and IT leadership informed.
• Escalate issues requiring leadership decisions or specialist support with a clear summary of the problem, business impact, troubleshooting completed and recommended next steps.
• Assist with Level 1 support when needed to maintain service during busy periods or staffing gaps.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers, printers, scanners, scales, POS equipment, and other technology used throughout the business.
• Support POS operations, including item maintenance, configuration changes, and coordination with vendors.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and employee onboarding and offboarding following established approval and security procedures.
• Support Microsoft services, endpoint management, networking, and virtualized infrastructure.
• Perform approved updates, maintenance, and system checks, documenting changes and following established change procedures.
• Own assigned IT projects and improvements, communicating progress, risks, and blockers.

Requirements:

• The associates are frequently required to bend, twist, reach, push and pull.
• The associates must regularly lift or move objects up to 50lbs
• The associates must be able to work with wide variety of fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and processed substances without negative allergic consequences;
