Job Summary

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced L2 Operations Engineer to support our clients enterprise data and analytics platforms, centered around Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, and DBT. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end incident management, platform stability, production break-fix, and cross-tower escalation.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end incident management from L1.5 escalation to closure using ServiceNow.

• Resolve production break-fix issues across data platforms and escalate to L3 engineering with root cause findings.

• Administer Power BI and Tableau platforms: manage workspace user access, troubleshoot data source connectivity, and resolve report refresh failures.

• Support cloud data warehouse operations in Snowflake and transformation pipelines built on DBT.

• Monitor data pipeline health and orchestrate fixes across ingestion tools (Fivetran, AWS Glue) and Airflow.

• Analyze application performance, system stability, resource consumption, and license lifecycles.

• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Defect Elimination Plan (DEP) reviews.

• Coordinate with Database, Hosting, IDAM, and Network teams on cross-tower issues.

• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge-base documentation.

  Required Technical Skills Qualifications

• 10 to 12 years of hands-on L2 operations and production support experience in a 24x7 enterprise environment.

• Strong administration and troubleshooting expertise in Power BI and Tableau.

• Solid technical support experience with Snowflake and DBT.

• Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries and basic Python scripting.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services (S3, CloudWatch, IAM) and monitoring tools (Datadog).

• Familiarity with data orchestration and ETL tools (Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Fivetran).

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management) using ServiceNow and Jira.

• Certifications such as PL-300, Tableau Desktop/Server, SnowPro Core/Admin, or DBT are an added advantage.

  Prerequisites

• Must be based in Gurugram/NCR or willing to relocate immediately.

• Comfortable working 2 days per week from the client office in Gurugram.

• Flexible working in 24x7 rotational shifts.

• Immediate availability to interview and join within 1 week.
